It is a crystal linked to the earth element, but it comes from space and according to crystallotherapy it has very powerful properties, so much so that it is also considered a dangerous stone if misused.  believed to have formed from a meteorite impact
 in the Bohemian region of the Czech Republic.
 It is considered a rare and valuable gemstone
